"The House has already done its job. By passing a stop-gap funding measure on September 19th, Republicans gave Congress time to complete the full appropriations process through regular order — the way it’s supposed to be done. This is a clean, simple budget extension until November 21st, free of the partisan gimmicks demanded by the Radical Left.

"It’s worth noting that under the Biden Administration, Republicans worked with Democrats to pass a clean continuing resolution 13 different times. If it was good enough then, it should be good enough now.

"Let’s be crystal clear: if the government shuts down, the blame rests solely with the Democrats. This is nothing more than a Radical Left and Senator Schumer–led shutdown. Instead of joining Republicans in doing the responsible thing, they are playing political games with people’s livelihoods.
