Lee Zeldin is just the latest casualty in the Democratic guerrilla war against the GOP.
From encouraging people to harass Supreme Court Justices at their homes and in public places to publishing their opponent’s schedules and urging their unhinged acolytes to show up and cause mayhem, last night was the end result of their campaign of terror.
What else could they expect?
We don’t need apologies and platitudes. We need laws that protect our elected officials, candidates, and the democratic process — NOT goon squads trying to stifle debate and public discourse through intimidation and assault.
Democrats control the White House, Congress, Senate, NY Governor’s office, and legislature. They should pass legislation today with stiff penalties to put an end to this insurrection against our republic.
If they don’t, they have accepted that they are the party of criminals and anarchy — and the GOP is the party of law & order, common sense, and family values.
